Credits are service credits
Tradeback credits are non-transferable service credits. They are not cash, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be transferred between users.
Credits may be used only for Tradeback services such as backtests, reports, exports, and future approved research features.
Purchases
Credit packages are purchased through server-trusted checkout handoff. The frontend may display packages but does not mutate wallet balances.
Credits are granted only after verified captured payment processing with idempotent ledger entries.
Holds and consumption
Paid jobs may place a credit hold while queued or running. Holds reduce available balance until consumed or released.
- Hold consumed when paid output completes successfully.
- Hold released when a job fails before paid output is delivered or when an approved support correction applies.
- Hold release is not the same as a refund of already consumed credits.
Refunds
Phase 1 refund handling is service-credit oriented. Tradeback credits are not withdrawable as cash.
Admin refund credits require reason, refund reference metadata, immutable ledger entry, and admin audit log.
Any future provider-level cash refund requires explicit approval, reconciliation, and separate legal review.
Payment mode
Sandbox/test payment mode remains the default for beta unless an explicit live-payment approval gate is recorded in release documentation.
Tradeback supports historical backtesting only. No live trading, paper trading, broker execution, or investment advice.
